Westerly Sealord from 1987. A 39ft monohull sloop built in GRP in the UK. A very sea kindly boat set up for cruising with 2 cabins, galley and 2 heads. She has sailed half way around the world with ease. Only a 2 owner vessel with the current owner spending 6 years making her perfect for cruising around the world. Some of the key improvements made for cruising:
- Slab reefing main sail with all lines led back to the cockpit.- 280A lithium battery with 500W of solar and wind generator.- Hydrovane mechanical self steering.
Keel cooled fridge and freezer. 25 litre per hour watermaker.
Large stern swim platform with deck shower.
