COMMENTS
Farr Design #62 built by Robertson for famous NZ yachtsman Ray Haslar. Fascinating history / provenance. One of Bruce Farr's best designs. Competition included Sydney Hobart, World one Ton, Southern Cross. Jenny H (Scalawag, Azzurra) is a very fun "pure sailing boat." Exciting, capable, competitive for racing. Wonderful, enjoyable pleasure sailing in the faintest breeze up to the strongest.. She was quite famous in 1977 / 1978 in New Zealand. The cold molded epoxy build makes this all wood sailboat very light, strong, impervious to everything, low maintenance that will last forever. We're interested to find an appropriate, capable new owner and will negotiate accordingly. The previous owners have all been well known competent, successful, serious, go anywhere sailors. Including wins in Sydney Hobart, TransPac, etc. Please contact us for more photos and description.
Note: since we decided to sell her, she was damaged in the bow by a power boat operating on only 1 of 2 engines.
