Once owned by the famous novelist Alister Maclean and then Daks clothing , spending most of her time in St Tropez , Between the years 2000 and 2005 the yacht was extensively refitted, with over a million euros spent including new teak decks, masts, complete interior in solid cherry , French oak floors, all new sails ,electric 24v winches including head sail, overhauled engine, steering, ect by Chantier Etoile in St Malo, who were the successors to the well known Chantier L'Abbe, who had refitted the Pen Duick yachts of the famous yachtsman Eric Tabarly. Much of the ancillary equipment was fitted at this time. Some work was also done at the well known wooden boatyard, Ring Andersen in Denmark whilst cruising the Baltic , between 2023-4 all bottom planks ( garboard plus 2 up ) were replaced ,as well as re-planking on port side from stem to quarter , and bulwark stem to past midship this work was carried out by Chantier Naval Duboscq, Granville currently berthed in Channel Islands
